Catholic Calendar
Holy Family Radio will serve our Diocesan parishes, schools and organizations with a link to promote their events and activities on our website Catholic Calendar. It’s an opportunity to integrate your faith into your daily life and provide opportunities for fellowship with other Catholics. Go to the Catholic Calendar for more information. Have an event you would like to add to the calendar? Submit it here: Submit New Event Form.
Daily Mass Readings
The daily Mass readings can be found in numerous places including the USCCB and Universalis websites. We are encouraged to prepare for receiving the Eucharist long before Mass starts. Study the readings before Mass begins and as the Mass progresses, we see how every part of the Mass fits together.
Eucharistic Adoration
“‘Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us,’ is present in many ways to his Church (Rom 8:34): in his word, in his Church’s prayer…in the poor, the sick, and the imprisoned, in the sacraments of which he is the author, in the sacrifice of the Mass, and in the person of the minister. But ‘he is present…most especially in the Eucharistic species.’” (CCC 1373) Find out more about Eucharistic Adoration in your area, please follow this link – Eucharistic Adoration.
News & Events
While the Catholic Calendar includes all the events submitted from our listeners, parishes and ministries, we are able to feature news and events here. You’ll see a few of these on the front page of this website. For the full articles, check out the News and Events sections.
Pledge Drive
Each year, Holy Family Radio has two main fundraising events to encourage donations that will continue to support this ministry. Many local vibrant parishes, ministries, and organizations will be highlighted during the pledge drives. Tune in to hear your favorite priests, Bishops from both dioceses and other guests you know and love. Join in the fun, fundraising and be part of the excitement for Christ and His Church!
Prayer Requests
If you would like to add a special intention or prayer request, please follow the link and fill out the form. Your prayer request will be added to our daily prayer intentions. Please keep Holy Family Radio in your prayers and may God richly bless you and your family.
RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
Catholics believe that God calls individuals to live the Good News proclaimed by Jesus and to become his disciples as members of the Catholic Church. If you are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or to become Catholic, you’ll participate in a process called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). Adults or children who have reached the age of reason (about 7 years old) learn about the teachings of Jesus as the Catholic Church has handed them on and put these teachings into practice by living as part of the Catholic community, serving others, discussing, praying and studying.
